The past week of my life has included graduating from college and moving back home to Long Island. It took me a few days to unpack all of my things and figure out a way to fit all of it back into my bedroom…and I STILL have things in boxes that have no place to go. I’ve been doing a bit of a room makeover & am on a misson to declutter and get rid of tons of things I no longer want/need. I started selling some clothes online, threw some stuff out, and I have bags of things I need to drop off at Goodwill. I got rid of my desktop computer and now have space on my desk, which i’m soo excited about. (pictures of that later)
While cleaning out my basement, I found this rad old wood chair that I knew had potential. My dad told me I could have it, and I headed over to the hardware store to get some paint. Apparently if you go to Lowe’s you can get a small sample can of paint for only 3 bucks! The can was large enough for the two coats of paint I needed for the chair, pretty good deal in my opinion.

For the leopard spots, I started off using a stencil but instead ended up free-handing it. Strangely enough the inspiration for the color of the chair and the color scheme of my room came from the Sex Pistols “Never Mind the Bollocks” album. AKA my lime green walls and my pink sheets/pink chair. On to more bedroom craft projects.
