Saturday morning was spent looking at clouds..

went to the miami zoo which looked like Jurassic Park when we were driving in!

Went on adventures for food..the decor in this restaurant was awesome. Pizza place called The Mellow Mushroom

Getting up at 5AM on Friday for our flight back definitely messed up my sleeping schedule a bit..also going into Brooklyn that night for a show. Let’s just say I was exhausted. Now i’m feeling back in the swing o things after a laid back weekend post-trip.

sink, florida, sink

I spent my week in Florida. Mostly Fort Lauderdale, to be exact. I was a bit reluctant to go at first because it was just me with my parents & a few of their friends (my brother Mikey didn’t want to go.) But I am totally glad i did go. It was a nice little getaway & the weather was awesome…it only rained once for about 20 minutes the whole week we were there!

One of the first nights we ended up doing Karaoke on a whim…needless to say it was a hilarious night. There were a lot of drinks involved, and yes i did sing. On Tuesday I told my dad about a record store down the road so we headed over & stumbled upon some cute shops in the area. I got a Dance Hall Crashers vinyl (even though i keep telling myself i need a vinyl break due to lack of funds!) I went in an adorable store with vintage clothes, & i got a late lunch from Pizza Fusion. There’s no pizza places near me on Long Island with vegan pizza on the menu so naturally i got really excited. Not as good as the vegan pizza that my school surprisingly had, but it was definitely yummy.
